Overview of Japanese activities on tritium research for fusion reactors and Research activities at Shizuoka University

Abstracts:Tritium related activities for fusion, fission and environmental studies in Japan have been reviewed. Major research subjects related to tritium research are fusion, fission, waste management, biological effects and fundamental science. More than 130 researchers belonging to Japan Atomic Energy Agency (JAEA), universities, National Institute for Fusion Science (NIFS) and National Institute of Radiological Science, are working well under not only domestic collaborations but also international collaborations.
In Shizuoka University, 4 typical topics related to tritium researched have been carried out as follows,
- Chemical behavior of high energy hydrogen isotopes in various plasma facing materials from a view point of high energy chemistry
- Radiochemical studies on tritium behavior produced in various lithium compounds
- Development of high sensitive and real-time tritium monitoring system using hollow-filament type polyimide membrane module
- Development of tritium recovery technique from liquid sodium in fast breeder reactor
 At the presentation , the present status of these research topics will be introduced.

摘要:实验氚增殖模块的综合性能是国际热核实验聚变实验堆ITER的最重要的工程实验目标之一。简要介绍了ITER计划的发展历程;综述了ITER实验包层计划的历史、主要技术路线和最新的设计与研发进展;概述了与实验包层计划相关的DEMO聚变堆的定义与发展策略。最后,对国内开展的ITER实验包层的初步设计与研发计划做了简要介绍。
