Brief Introduction
Low-cost nanostructure materials are widely seen as an important role having huge potential to boost solar cells’ efficient and lower the consumption of raw material. ZnO is cheap, stable, environmentally-friendly and nontoxic. ZnO single crystal nanostructures have less deep defects than their thin-films structures. ZnO nanostructures, on the other hand, have a good transparency for the solar spectrum and a subwavelength structure size. Therefore the ZnO nanostructures have captured the attention of many researchers because of their good prospects for both solar energy and optoelectronic applications. The talk will discuss the manipulation of ZnO nanostructure’s geometry and morphology for novel superstrate solar cells, highly structured solar cells, ARC of solar cells and high temperature solar selective surface.
