  Biography

  Jiefang Zhu received his Ph. D degree in Applied Chemistry in East China University of Science and Technology (2004). He started his postdoc researches in Shanghai Institute of Ceramics, Chinese Academy of Sciences (2004), and Chalmers University of Technology (2007). He was promoted as assistant professor in 2009 and associate professor in 2012 at the Department of Chemistry – ?ngstr?m Laboratory in Uppsala University, Sweden. His research interest lies in the preparation, characterization, and application of nanomaterials, with the focus on the relationship between structure and properties of nanomaterials. The category of these nanomaterials covers noble metals, metal oxides, metal sulphides, and carbonaceous materials. These nanomaterials are used as catalysts in Li-O2 battery and photocatalysts for environmental treatment.
