  报告摘要: 

  In this talk, I will present you our recent work on high efficiency n-type silicon solar cells with laser doping or carrier selective contact technology. Laser doping is used to form the local back surface filed of n-type solar cells, and an efficiency of up to 20.9% is achieved. TiO2-based electron selective contact is implemented into n-type silicon solar cells to eliminate the local back surface fields as well as the contact opening, an efficiency of up to 20.5% is achieved. Both technologies are industrial-feasible, and high efficiency n-type silicon solar cells can be fabricated at a low cost. 

  报告人简介: 

  Dr. Xinbo YANG received his Ph.D. degree in materials science in 2010 from the Shanghai Institute of Ceramics, CAS. He was a JSPS Fellow at the Institute for Materials Research, Tohoku University. Since 2012, he has been a research fellow at the Centre for Renewable Energy Systems, The Australian National University. His research is mainly focused on high efficiency n-type silicon solar cells and high quality silicon crystal growth. He has published more than 40 journals papers with SCI citations >300. He was awarded two prestigious postdoctoral fellowships, JSPS fellowship in 2011 and The Australian Renewable Energy Agency (ARENA) Fellowship in 2013.
